Experience
I'm a tutor who is based out of Boston, where I enjoy writing when I'm not in the classroom working with my students. I have my bachelor's degree in philosophy and English from Suffolk University, where I graduated with cum laude honors and a presidential scholarship. Winning the presidential scholarship gave me the opportunity to teach English, critical writing, and several other workshops to hundreds of students for each semester of my final three years in school. Now, I'm a widely published writer and graduate student pursuing my MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. I primarily study poetry and translation. I'm also currently working as a Professor of Literature at Changing Lives Through Literature, an alternative probation program at the University of Massachusetts in addition to working as a copyeditor for The Tishman Review. I've also had the pleasure of working with award-winning poets, and have won some awards myself for writing. As my background indicates, I'm seriously passionate about the fine arts. I'm also passionate about helping students improve their own reading and writing skills. I'm looking forward to helping you improve your skills and find success.
