I graduated with high honors from the University Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Following graduation, I accepted a position as a property manager, working and communicating every day with many different people from a wide range of ages and education levels. When asked to describe some of my key qualities as a career professional and as a tutor, I never hesitate. I bring a steady patience and creative mind to my sessions and students. I stress the benefits of infusing strategy to learning a subject, especially those entailing more complex scenarios. I always try to impart to my students the importance of recognizing the overall concept of a subject or problem, rather than focus only on memorization of the solutions. Learning is more effective, and much more enjoyable, with a full understanding of a subject. I tailor every project and session to match students' learning styles, and I always try to infuse their passions into our lessons and use that to strengthen their knowledge base. I appreciate education and hope to share that with my students. Away from teaching, I stay very active in many different sports, and enjoy TV shows and movies.
